To maximize the functionality of the apartment in a new building helped the redevelopment of the hall and wet areas. But in the finish without experiments: the designers chose a traditional Wallpaper, parquet floors and natural marble to create a classic atmosphere. However, without interesting modern details, no cost.
In this spacious apartment in a prestigious district of St. Petersburg lives a couple with a teenage son. The residential complex is built in the neoclassical style, so the interior of the clients wanted to create an understated classic setting, but with simple modern elements.
“This helped symmetry and precise proportions of the space. And to oppose family interior gray landscape of St. Petersburg, we took warm colors” — say the designers from Studio Parsifal.
Work on the project began with the redevelopment. First, get rid of huge non-functional hall. Due to his increased guest bathroom and equipped separate Laundry, and a hallway separated from the living area by a partition. Two of the rooms had placed a bedroom and the nursery, and the kitchen and living room left United.
Customers wanted to create a classical interior, so the main material for the walls and chose fabric Wallpaper. They have a nice texture and work as an additional soundproofing. On the floor put in modular flooring.
“The bathroom is mustard painted walls refreshed with light tiles with dark specks. Marble countertop echoes the finish of the shower enclosure. The same marble white walls made in the guest bathroom. Accent steel turquoise Wallpaper which was used in one of the zones,” say the designers.
In the arrangement of the storage systems also follow the symmetry. Cabinets with glass fronts placed on both sides of the aisle between the bathroom and hallway — it turned out a kind of portal into the guest bathroom, combined with Laundry room. The same trick with the portal used in the bedroom. And in my son’s room installed built-in wardrobe and wall with work space.
Many pieces of furniture in the interior made to order so they perfectly fit in the situation. For example, for the kitchen chose furniture with facades of natural wood veneers and kitchen backsplash brown marble. Spectacular detail — white portal in the center of the wall with electric hob and integrated hood. In color headset the designers picked a round dining table and chairs — they are also made of wood.
The sofa group in the living room complements the original coffee table Boca Do Lobo. They are made of natural wood and coated with a layer of copper for decoration — they look unusual and impressive.
As decoration we have chosen modern paintings and posters John Richard: for example, in the interior of a bedroom perfectly blended image of herons. They added a large mirror in the headboard. In the design used a lot of textiles: decorative pillows, blankets and rugs, made especially for this project, added comfort and softened the strict classical environment.
