The design of the new store Jim Thomson in Bangkok – one of the participants Covet International Awards 2018, organized by the European design company, Covet Group. This exotic design project was implemented by the French Agency Flint.
Christophe Gauthier and Veronique Taste are the founders of French design Studio Agency Flint, and they have created this exotic design project for a new store Jim Thomson. The interior was inspired by the tropical landscape and the quiet intimacy of Thai culture and costumes. Since 1995, the French design Studio focused on the adoption of all types of design fields and scales of the urban and territorial area, as well as to any kind of architecture.
Shop area of 550 sq. m in Siam Paragon shopping Mall in Bangkok looks like a modern tropical garden with a pleated green silk curtain contrasting with the Golden shelves, which is a product. Also behind the curtain you can find several thick doors which lead you to a number of niches and dressing rooms.
This cosy room surrounded by dark wood tones and green recesses with Golden sparks in Eastern and Western style, which store a lot of clothing or accessories. Glazed doors main entrance allow the public to see the garden atmosphere and space, where the latest creations of Jim Thomson.

This project was implemented in 2017. Around a vast Central space on the ground you can see the green marble, gold plated parts, lively and tropical plants.
As you can see through walls walnut or tropical Wallpaper, the concept of “garden” is the basis for all the detailed niches of the space, such as ready-to-wear for women and men, accessories and design for the home.
