The first hotel under the Roomers brand was opened in 2009 in Frankfurt am Main. In 2016 he joined the Roomers Hotel in Baden-Baden, designed by the architect Piero Lissoni, and in 2017 the network brand appeared in Munich. The design of the new hotel, located in the Westend area opposite the ancient brewery of Augustinian monks, was occupied by the Amsterdam concrete bureau. New design hotel on the map of Munich The concept of the hotel is a metropolis in miniature, where everything is for rest and work: a spa, meeting rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a library and even a secret club for private parties. Following this idea, the studio concrete embodied the image of the modern city suite in the interiors of the Munich Roomers Hotel. The tone is set by materials: onyx, copper, black marble, leather.
New design hotel on the map of Munich In the rooms oak parquet and buazeri with a strict neoclassical profile serve as an architectural frame for furniture from the Danish brands Gubi and Ox Denmarq. Their simple modernist forms are embodied in luxurious finishes: the legs of coffee tables and armchairs shine with gold and yellow copper, the upholstery flaunts with colored velvet.
New design hotel on the map of Munich The lobby of the hotel is decided in the spirit of a modern living room. Two artificial fireplaces in furnish copper plates are surrounded by leather sofas and armchairs, on walls – abstract painting. The semi-circular reception desk passes to the bar island: immediately after registration guests move to the bar for a welcome glass of champagne.
The new hotel plans to repeat the success of his older brother from Frankfurt, becoming the center of Munich's urban life. The force of attraction should be the Asian restaurant Izakaya, where Japanese cuisine is mixed with the tastes of Latin America. An open kitchen in the form of a huge working block is seen through the glass facade from the street. Part of the island in a mirror golden finish, stands directly in the lobby of the hotel, luring guests inside the restaurant.
A special pride of the hotel is the secret Whiskey Room – a closed club in sensual scarlet tones with velvet wall panels, high-backed furniture for tet-a-tet conversations and a DJ console. Entourage for parties sets glossy coffered ceiling with mirror elements and built-in lighting. Designed for a variety of light scenarios and effects, it in the included form gives the interior a resemblance to the spacecraft from Stanley Kubrick's cult film The Space Odyssey..
