Framed new York fashion Week was a show of the autumn-winter collection of Badgley Mischka.
Despite the fact that the show was held in the American capital of fashion, the line was very “English”. At the same time the designer was inspired by the popular TV series “Downton Abbey” and hippie culture, the Beatles. So, in a collection at the same time became dresses in the style of the Edwardian era and a poncho with fringe. Diverse sources of inspiration nevertheless do not contradict each other, and organically, while non-trivial in tandem.
Despite the love for embellishment, use, collection flower, sequins and feathers, the designer has created, in addition to formal, basic business images. Among them, jackets with lush sleeves, satin jackets, plaid capes and blouses with fluffy bows.
The new collection of Badgley Mischka is not something innovative, but skillfully gathers into a single whole tradition of English culture and creates them on the basis of the wardrobe of the modern girl.
