How to decorate the dining room: 9 examples

In our collection - nine examples of dining rooms in different styles, as well as furniture and accessories to create a similar situation.

1. Chalet in Australia

Design Hecker Guthrie Interior

This main dining room - view from the window. Designers could even do without the benches under the window and make more seats on the other side of the table. Well, who wants to sit with his back to such beauty? For this reason, the situation is not overloaded with details not even laconic lamp hanging in the center, and to the side so as not to obstruct the "picture".

2. Apartment in Paris

Bureau of GCG

In this project, a striking appearance dining responsible for registration of two spaces: the most dining and adjacent lounge. The partition of glass and metal separates the two zones are not only visually but also physically (the door to the dining room can be closed, so noise and food smells will not disturb those who are in the next room). Yes, there was an extra room wall, but it is transparent, so there is no need to finish it: through the glass freely broadcast design an adjacent space. And the architects obviously took advantage of this paste over the wall in the dining room with wallpaper patterned with an active and painted ceiling in a bright color. The living room is framed much calmer.

3. apartment in Minsk

Architectural bureau "Baharev and partners"

Here we have all the attributes of the interior in the spirit of modern classics: low-key luxury furnishings, crystal chandeliers, stucco, decorative parquet and glass windows, which can be stored china and crystal for receptions. And of course, the axial symmetry. Swing doors in the background leads into the kitchen, which is also quite elegant, but is separated from the dining room doors with frosted glass, so that if necessary it can be completely hidden from the eye. Purple chairs in the dining room were not accidental. Architects appointed accentual this color, so soft furnishings of the same color can be found in the other rooms of the apartment.

5. Apartment in Rome

The hostess and designer Alessandra Branca

For a luxurious and festive atmosphere in the dining room meet the color palette and classic furniture (we can say with confidence that under the cloth hiding lacquered carved table legs). The red color has no equal in the cases when it is necessary to create a festive atmosphere. Velvety and silky texture added to the image of nobility. Reduce the degree of splendor is not even a simple mat that lies on the floor. It is worth paying attention to the serving table: the designer has used vintage Murano glass of the famous Italian brand Venini. All this mix harmoniously coexist in a four-room duplex occupying the last floor built in the XVI century, which was once a convent. It offers scenic views of one of the seven hills of Rome - Gianicolo.

6. The apartment in Miami

Designer Kiko Salomao

Before creating a snow-white minimalist interior, it is necessary to assess the situation outside. If there nine months of the year impenetrable gray sky and snow, there is nothing besides anguish this room will not cause. Even a heated marble floor will always seem icy. But if outside the sun, the ocean, and almost always a plus thirty (as in this case, because the apartment is located in Miami), then such a dining area - a dream. One look at her pleasantly cool.

7. The apartment in Paris

Designer Stefani Parmante

In this dining room a lot of air, and it looks quite austere, but it does not seem "cold", as the space in the previous example. Only a few parts - a fireplace, wooden floors and shelves with books - make this modest room in a cozy home space, where it is pleasant. Certainly the guests and family members love to gather around the table. In general, the situation is typical for French apartments: sloppy (but actually carefully thought) a mix of designer chandeliers, the famous chairs Dzho Ponti for Cassina, a silver vase from the Christofle, marble fireplaces and antique parquet portal "herringbone".

8. House in East Hampton

Designer Kureka Jones

No wonder tree in the interior is considered a sign of comfort. Remove from this group that the dining room, and the atmosphere in the room immediately becomes a different, less warm and sunny. Blue showcase, standing in the background, only underscores the importance of table and chairs: for such space is quite compact, so they appear larger than it actually is. This impression amplifies and low-hanging chandelier, which is the neighborhood just at hand - reddish wood emphasizes its impressive bronze texture.

9. House in Norfolk

The hostess and designer Birdie Fortescue

The owner of this house - the owner of an antique gallery, so the environment is nothing new, except the console, she came up and made herself. All other subjects that we see in the photo, not less than two hundred years. However, the room turned out not pompous, and very residential. All the matter in the overall color scheme: frame gloss antique mirrors and polished worktops table soothes delicate shade of the walls and light stools, which are associated with democratic country style.
