Alpine Eagle new watch from Chopard is a modern interpretation of St Moritz, 1980, the first clock created with today’s Home Chopard co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.
Young employee of the family business was just 22 years old when he presented to his father a draft model St Moritz, which became the first sports model in the history of the House. Central model a new Alpine Eagle from Chopard is made of the exclusive ultra-high-strength steel Steel reflective Lucent A223 designed specifically for this collection.
Lucent Steel A223 — new material, such as precious and complex as the gold is made by melting and has three unique features. First of all, thanks to its hypoallergenic composition, it has the same properties as surgical steel and is therefore compatible with any type of skin. In addition, having a hardness of 223 Vickers, the alloy has a wear resistance 50% higher than that of classic steel, and boasts a unique strength. And, finally, the exceptional homogeneity of the crystal lattice gives it a unique purity and ability to reflect light.
Updated collection of Alpine Eagle has ten different versions, including models in steel, gold, steel with gold and gold with diamonds. The watch is also presented in the male and female versions: a large one (Large) model with a diameter of 41 mm and small (Small) model with a diameter of 36 mm.
